Leading paint manufacturer Johnstone's has continued to strengthen its Specification Development Management team as part of the company's ongoing commitment to significantly investing in the specification market.

Johnstone's, which is owned by SigmaKalon UK and Ireland , has built a strong reputation among specifiers based on its technical expertise and understanding of the needs of those working in this sector.

The eight strong Specification Development team is dedicated to providing help and support to professional specifiers. The team is supported by commercial, marketing and technical departments to provide a comprehensive package that includes technical advice, colour consultancy and on-site inspection.

Steve Terry, National Specification Manager, said: "The appointment of the Specification Development Managers is part of our ongoing initiative to increase our support to this key sector.

The Specification Development team will continue to grow with the addition of four further members by the end of 2007, in order to meet the needs of the growing specification market.
