Children visiting a Mirfield children's day centre are guaranteed a brighter outlook after Batley based Johnstone's Paints, agreed to donate paint to help refurbish some of the centre's bustling community areas.

The Trinity Children's Centre is a registered charity providing day care, breakfast and after school clubs and school escorting to children aged 2 - 14 in and around the Mirfield area.

Treasurer of the Trinity Committee, Emma Hennell who has been involved in raising funds for the refurbishment programme was thrilled at the response she received from Johnstone's Paints:

"Everyone involved with the charity has been working extremely hard to raise funds to provide a better environment for the children who attend here, and to encourage more families to come along and take advantage of the service we provide.

"We are currently contacting a number of local companies and are thrilled that Johnstone's has already responded to say they will provide all the paint needed to completely decorate the entrance, hall and nursery rhyme room," adds Emma.

Johnstone's Paints, is part of the SigmaKalon group which has its UK headquarters in Batley and Lorraine Holt, Marketing Assistant - Trade Brands says that the company was pleased to be able to help such a worthy cause.

"Trinity Children's Centre has been providing an excellent service to families in Mirfield for over 30 years, but with all the activities on offer, we understand that the centre is in constant need of refurbishment,' states Lorraine "It is fantastic that the paint we are donating will be brightening up the lives of so many of the region's children," she concluded.
