LDV has appointed a dealer specialist with over 20 years’ automotive experience as part of its UK recruitment drive.
Mark Beckley (46) joins LDV as a dealer business manager and will cover the north of England, North Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Prior to joining LDV, Mark was sales operations manager for Daimler Chrysler and is a previous Mercedes Benz commercial vehicle aftersales manager.
Mark will report directly to LDV’s dealer development director, Mike Berry. The dealer development team are currently working hard recruiting new dealers across the country, following LDV’s acquisition last year by Russian firm GAZ International. In 2007 alone LDV will launch new products including 10, 12 and 17-seat minibuses, accessible and semi accessible minibuses, fridge and ambulance conversions and a full range of chassis cab derivatives including dropsides, Lutons and boxes. LDV is searching for dealers who share its passion for commercial vehicles.
As part of his remit, Mark will be responsible for ensuring dealers meet both their sales and marketing targets. Speaking of his new role, Mark said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with an expanding brand that has huge ambitions for the future.
“My job will be to ensure dealers support these ambitions to help both them and LDV reach their full potential.”
Mark is married with one daughter and lives in Royton in Oldham.
